Description
Green College Dining Society at UBC is looking to hire a friendly, hard working individual for a Cook position Monday to Friday from 12pm to 8pm. This role is to help assist the Chef De Cuisine (Head Chef) and Vegetarian Cook with meal plan production and catering. At least 2-3 years experience in a professional kitchen, basic knife skills, seasoning of food, creativity, food allergy awareness and knowledge of meat/fish/vegetarian cooking is required. Please also provide your valid food safe certificate.
Green College is a residential college at UBC and our kitchen provides daily batch cooked meals (breakfast and dinner) for over 100 students and guests, along with onsite catering for UBC departments and college events.
This is a full time position $23.50/h with staff meals/breaks, gratuity, benefits after 3 months and bus pass covered.
